I find it hard to express the sheer thrill I get, the shiver in my bones, the excitement in my loins, all the emotions that ravage through me when I'm faced with the prospect of THAT DAY, the day I.. start a new sketchbook!
The possibilities for all those blank pages, OH! The Possibilities!
and every time I get to this wondrous day I think of this David Shrigley piece:
(P.S. That man is a genius, get around his work if you don't know it)
(chuckle, chuckle, chuckle)
I FEEL YOU MR. SHRIGLEY.
SO, Today I finished my latest sketchbook.
Two months.
Started a new sketchbook tonight.
She's a big mumma this time.
MUCHOS EXCITEMENT.
/// the first of many marks on her pages ///
thanks for sharing pages from your sketchbook, I find it interesting to see the way things are planned before the real deals.
ReplyDelete(PS 4th comment on your blog tonight, I'm not stalking you just catching up!)
I absolutely love seeing other artists sketchbooks too. These sketches have been turned into paintings for my show.
